How to find the muscle which is giving the maximum muscle activity in specific time step in Anybody?

This is a common question asked when I give a presentation or demonstration on AnyBody musculo-skeletal modeling system (AMS). AnyBody software simply calculates a maximum muscle activity as a result of an inverse-dynamics analysis. For an arbitrary activity being analyzed you can get a maximum muscle activity result like 0.453, which means the maximum muscle activity among the muscles defined in the model is 45.3%. And the natural question is which muscle is having that maximum muscle activity level of 45.3%. Now the answer is not that simple, hence you are reading this blog post.
